After much research, we decided on exactly the new vehicle that we wanted ? make, model, colors and accessories. Via their websites, we sent a complete description to sixteen (16) dealers within a four hour drive of home. We requested that they please send us their ?best and final?, out-the-door price including all taxes and fees. No phone calls, please. All correspondence in writing, please The dealership that offers the best price gets the business. No games. No consultations with the financeguy. No dickering over trade-in values. No back-and-forth. Let?s just keep it simple. Within an hour, we received a three-line email that began with the words, ?I will get right to the point??. The salesperson described the exact vehicle we wanted, quoted the MSRP correctly, spelled out all their discounts, listed all taxes and fees, and quoted a price that ultimately proved to be the lowest, most competitive we received. This salesperson never phoned, and sent only a few emails asking about our progress with the buying process. That dealership?s price very near our expectation -- a price within $4.00 of the price given to us by a friend with years of working experience in auto financing. Let me spell that out: within four dollars. The other 15 dealerships? Many phone calls (not answered). Multiple quotes that did not include taxes, title or other fees (impossible to know the actual price, and so ignored). Many unnecessary questions (also ignored). One quote was an astonishing $7,000 above the price we actually paid. In short, only one dealership worked with us as we had requested. On a Saturday morning, we drove two hours to Frema Motors, Inc. in Goldsboro, NC, met Ms. McKayla Evans, our courteous, prompt and cooperative salesperson, completed all the paperwork with the thorough and competent Mr. Jonathan Roe, and paid for our new Mazda CX-5. One of the owners, Ms. Frankie Franks, met with us briefly to say thanks. Four days later, Ms. Evans delivered the vehicle to our home. This was the best experience shopping for an automobile. The staff at Frema were super friendly and helpful. I love the VW that we purchased. After previously dealing with a larger franchise, FREMA was a refreshing change. The smalller, family oriented company made me feel more valued as a customer and not just another number that meets the quota. From the start, the whole process was smooth and easy. It was also great working out all of the details beforehand, so when I got to the dealership it really was a sign and drive experience. The entire sales process was great! They were honest and very people friendly. This is a family dealership, we know that because the family introduced themselves! Crystal, was our saleswoman, she was fantastic!! It really felt like she was working for you not herself. The finance department was great, at no point did they try to pressure us into buying extras we said we didn't want. I live in Florida,its a long drive, but if I'm looking again for a car, they'll be the first I'll check!!!!
I've bought a number of cars over the years, but have never found the process as easy and trouble-free as my recent purchase of a Mazda3 at Frema Mazda in Goldsboro, NC. We quickly came to an agreement on price over the Internet with no bickering. Every individual with whom I spoke was informed, friendly, and helpful. To my amazement, after agreeing upon the deal, Frema brought the car to me and saved me a trip to Goldsboro. I cannot say enough about these good people at Frema. not my first car buying experience, but the best one thus far that I've had, they've been upfront with me from the beginning and I respect that, I felt that i was offered a fair/decent price, could it have been better...maybe :-) but they answered my questions, and no bs, either they could/would sell me the car for my price or a reasonable one or we couldn't do business at all, no bs and I appreciate that and that was what earned my business
Great experience here. Kevin took great care of us going above and beyond what he had to do. And the dealership owner/management were very friendly and available. I waited in the showroom while they prep'd my new car and they would come by asking if I needed anything to eat, drink, etc. I drove here from Raleigh - better price, MUCH better experience overall. Down home dealership.
Great experience buying a new Mazda from Kevin. Perfect information and photos over the phone and great pricing made it well worth the drive from Raleigh. Friendly, customer focused, family owned business. I’d encourage anyone that’s buying a new Mazda or VW to call him before buying elsewhere.
Just purchased a beautiful Soul Red Crystal Metallic 2019 CX 5. Frank was awesome to work with! This dealership was willing to quote a very low price in writing even before seeing me. Their price was significantly lower than other dealerships. They also gave me a fair price for my trade-in. I drove close to 2 hours to work with them. Highly recommend! Check them out! They also sell Volkswagens.
